TOEFL Preparation Course

What is TOEFL?
TOEFL is the "Test Of English as a Foreign Language". TOEFL is a required exam for those students wishing to begin undergraduate or graduate study in North America.
There are four sections: listening comprehension, structure, reading comprehension and writing.
TOEFL Preparation Course
A high score in the TOEFL examination is essential for entry to an American university. You learn specific strategies for the American examination with an emphasis on enriching vocabulary and listening skills.
During the course you will have practice examinations with feedback from your teacher. Lessons give background information on American culture and the differences between British and American English are explored.
Frances King helps you to register for the TOEFL Examination on the first day of the course, but places are subject to availability.
Academic English
This enables you to gain the language skills needed for academic study, including summarising lectures, note-taking skills, debating techniques, carrying out research and presenting data.
